Happy 2025!

Happy New Year! I hope 2025 treats you very well. Here’s a little photo round-up of my 2024.

Jan 2024

It started out with the Ba’ in Kirkwall, which
was a very exciting one, with a win for the Uppies for the first time in
a while. Mum and dad were matchy-matchy for New Year’s Day. Ethan and I
took a run around Orkney, walked around Stromness and the Ring of
Brodgar. Walks with sweet Sam at the farm, playing catch with Sam and
Moss. We had a really fun evening of music with Auskerry and
Saltfishforty in Kirkwall. I had a nice jaunt to the tiny island of
Gairsay with dad, to check on the sheep. Attempted to leave Orkney and
missed my flight due to a LOT of snow drifting on the roads. Tried again
the next day and spent something like 7 hours in the tiny airport, for a
1hour long flight, which eventually did get me to Glasgow! Then it was
Celtic Connections with Hildaland and a few weeks to catch up with pals
in Glasgow. Great month, 10/10.

Feb 2024

Started out in Glasgow at @celtic_connections and playing on @bbcradioscot. I had the privilege of being tasked with creating artwork for @laurajwilkie’s beautiful record, Vent, this was one of the ideas I played around with. Then @hildalandmusic headed to Kansas City for @folk_alliance
for the first time - we’ll be back for this years’ conference, and are
very excited it’s happening in Montreal! After that Ethan and I spent a
few days in the Bay Area and caught up with some good pals there.
Another 10/10 month.
